Cooler Master’s Silent Pro Gold PC Power Supply reviewed.

Once upon at time, Corsair was renowned as a memory manufacturer of some distinction. That’s still the case today, but the Californian company has recently expanded with a range of power supplies that live up to the the brand’s reputation for quality.

Silver Power is a relatively new brand here in the UK but, as its products are made by the same team behind Tagan and Sea Sonic’s models, it has considerable pedigree. By reducing the number of goodies you get in the box, Silver Power aims to provide quality PSUs at more affordable prices than other high-end manufacturers. After unpacking the unit from its Gorilla-themed box we were impressed by the presentation. Cables have been immaculately braided from top to bottom and the PSU is very heavy, which is always a good sign. Continued…
