The 360 indie hit Braid has been given a confirmed 31 March release date. It is now available for pre-order via Stardock's Impulse download client for $14.95. We've had some hands-on time with Jonanathan Blow's platform puzzler and we can honestly say it's one of the most sublime gaming experiences we've had in years. You can hear more about it from the man himself in our TPCG #5, which will be uploaded shortly.

Llamasoft's insane XBLA shooter, Space Giraffe, is coming to the PC. The original game divided opinion in the 360 community, prompting a hissy fit from designer Jeff Minter, who stated he would not make any more games. There's no official release date yet, but developer Ivan Zorzin (aka Giles) revealed on the Llamasoft blog that some of the more psychedelic of the 100 new levels for the PC will be toned down: "Some of them could be a bit more 'vanilla'."

You may recall a little game called Trials that was popular a few years back, in which you drove a motorbike over an obstacle course in a test of balance and skill. An online version was responsible for much lost time in our offices and developer RedLynx has just released a full-blown sequel that provides all new challenges, sexy new visuals and an online leaderboard. New Zealand indie developer Lexaloffle Games has released its latest title, Jasper's Journeys. A platformer in the style of the Apogee shareware classics, Jasper's is an unashamedly old-school adventure with exploration, monster-smooshing and pixel-perfect jumps. A demo is available for Windows and Macintosh and the full game costs just $19.95. Lexaloffle's previous titles also come highly recommended, particularly the fiendish and cutesy puzzler Chocolate Castle.
