X-Com is hard...really hard.

I got After-math, -shock and -light.

And I love the image of the muton coming at the wounded XCOM guy from behind. Together with the sound, this game is suspense made binary.

Grr its just made me so angry. Found a large sectoid supply ship so decided that it was time to get psi. Killed all the enemies except the last which was the leader. And then i could not find it anywhere. It was a very small map with no buildings and just the ufo in the middle. I spent over 40 turns searching the whole map while it panicked all my soldiers. I finally gave up and reloaded to try again but it happened again. Guess it must be a glitch where the enemy is off the map or some such. Very annoying though.

I've never come across that bug. There are bits where finding the last alien takes ages, because they've panicked and hidden in a corner.

If I could be bothered I would post a video...believe me he wasn't on the map...unless he had an invisibility cloak.

Ah the ethereals have just made a terror site. Should be able to capture one there. Also ive had the glitch with my own tank before. I could see a tank on the was which i couldnt move, then noticed that it was firing from off the map. Very odd

Do you have the Steam version, or are you playing the original?

Steam version...so much easier to just double click, and it was the £2 collection so seemed worth it.

Yeah I managed to stun rod the ethereal leader , but wee Jez, who is now a Captain btw, took 2 heavy plasma's in the chest, meaning he is wounded for 60 days. 60 days! Anyway just found another alien base of Sectoids so hopefully can capture their leader too.

UFO: Enemy Unknown, or XCOM as it's known as these days. Best game ever written for any format ever. Those last aliens are buggers allright

Yup, the bot has gone, bit I still check in everyday. Mostly to look for bots, and read Relic sounding off about Lotro on the homepage.
