Mass Effect 2 is looking more and more like ‘Dirty Dozen in Space’ every day.

masseffect2_wallpaper_13_1280x1024Mass Effect 2 is looking more and more like ‘Dirty Dozen in Space’ every day.  BioWare has revealed Subject Zero; another member of the growing motley crew Commander Shepard will be taking with him on his suicide mission in the game. Subject Zero is a powerful human female Biotic, with a mysterious past, having had various experiments done to her as a child that greatly increased her abilities. Sporting a shaven head and covered from head to toe in tattoos marking kills and events in her life, Subject Zero is the Mass Effect equivalent of a fiery biker chick and femme fatal rolled into one.

Judging from her introductory video, which was first show at TGS earlier this week, it appears there’s the possibility of some romance, albeit the rough kind, between her and Shepard in the game.

With this third new dangerous and mercenary crew mate, following the reveals of unpredictable Krogan warrior Grunt and ice cold Drell assassin  Thane, it’s looking like Shepard will need to watch his companions as much as the enemy if he’s going to survive to the end of Mass Effect 2.

Mass Effect 2 is released on PC in early 2010.

At least I hope that’s what happens.
