NCsoft promises early and beta access for Aion pre-orders

The barrage of beta news continues with NCsoft guaranteeing players who pre-order Aion: The Tower of Eternity, their new MMO launching in the autumn, access to all the games closed beta events. Players who pre-order will also get a 48- hour head start on the servers, able choose which they’d like to be on and name their characters before launch.  The offer applies to both pre-orders of the standard and limited edition versions of the game. The developer also revealed the beta schedule for the game, which is currently as follows:

June 19th to 22nd: Closed beta, Asmodian faction levels 1-10

July 2nd to 6th: Closed beta, Asmodian faction levels 1-20

July 17th to 20th: Closed beta, Elyos and Asmodian levels 1-25

July 31st to August 3rd: Closed beta, TBC

August 14th to August 17th: Closed beta, TBC

There’s currently no word on when the open beta dates, which were originally scheduled for  August, but it’s safe to assume they’ve been shifted back. We’ll update you as we hear more.
