shattered_horizon_ss_01Futuremark Games Studio today announced that it is looking for beta testers for its current project, Shattered Horizon. It’s the debut title from the arm of benchmark software developer Futuremark, and the game isn’t far flung from one of Futurmark’s recent benchmark videos, “Playing a multiplayer FPS in zero gravity offers gameplay possibilities that simply cannot be found in conventional shooters,” said lead designer Antti Summala, “I invite every gamer looking for an FPS that offers something new and different to sign up for our beta test.”

We’re envisaging a cross between the anti-grav sections of Dead Space and the frenetic action of Quake Live – but we’ll have to wait until later this June to find out. Futuremark Game Studios is looking for European, Canadian and US gamers with Vista machines and DX10 graphics cards. If that’s you, why not sign up on shatteredhorizon.com?
