Cryptic Studios have just announced the release date of Star Trek Online, their MMO set in the Trek universe as February 5, 2010, in Europe.

The content in Star Trek Online is set 30 years after events in the movie Star Trek: Nemesis with you commanding your own class of ship during a war between the Federation and Klingon Empire.

The first MMO set in that universe, Star Trek Online is meant to make you feel as though you’re in one of the TV shows or movies- so we’re looking forward to classic Trek ship battles, as well as  beaming down to explore strange new worlds.
