Bioware unveils its latest DLC for Dragon Age: Origins, Leliana’s Song
It seems that Bio Ware fans can rejoice, as they can look forward to even more content for their favourite RPG’s next year.
We know it isn’t Christmas every day, but it looks like someone at Valve has gone slightly festively crazy- which is great news if you’re a PC gamer looking for some ridiculously cheap games.
“Single player experiences are no longer the future,” Electronic Arts UK’s general manager Keith Ramsdale told an attentive crowd at the EA Winter Showcase yesterday.
Several sites including IGN are reporting that Dragon Age: Origins has slipped, but that we shouldn’t fret because it’s only by a few weeks – from 20 October to 6 November in the UK and 3 November stateside.
The first decent bit of PC-related news to come out of this year’s LA-based E3 conference has landed a full 8 hours before the event is due to get underway.
In a recent interview, lead designer Mike Laidlaw told TPCG that Dragon Age: Origins had “storytelling of the same calibre or better than Mass Effect.
If you’re as excited by anything Dragon Age as I am, you might not excuse the cheap headline pull but you’ll forgive the shouty capitals: the first chapter of the Dragon Age: Origins novel is available for download on the official website! It’s called The Stolen Throne, it’s written by senior writer David Gaider (who has worked on Bioware games since Baldur’s Gate II), it’s in pdf format and the full volume will be available 3 March… which I suspect is a good indication of a more precise release date for the game.
